RLS fabricates and maintains a range of state-of-the-art soft shelters from our head office in South Nowra, NSW. Our soft shelters feature a patented, lightweight folding frame and robust design, so they can easily be assembled in under 5 minutes with only four personnel. All shelters can be interconnected and fitted with lighting, power and climate control systems for comfort in the field.
Hung fabric and aluminium frame
The main fabric of the shelter is hung from the frame. It gives complete protection from wind, snow, rain and sand, as well as blackout protection. The main fabric is made of a woven polyester, PVC coated on both sides.
Accessories
The tents are designed to be fully adaptable to global situations. The position and fixing of lighting and electrical systems, the plenums, division curtains, etc are optimised for ease of set-up and use in order to improve logistical operation.

The impressive versatility and inner volume make it easy to divide the space inside the tent, providing areas for both ambulant and non-ambulant casualties. The separation of areas contributes to apply the CBRN decontamination Warm and Cold zone protocols.
COLPRO Collective Protection
All V Series shelters can be transformed into COLPRO systems by the addition of sealed envelopes that are resistant to warfare and industrial toxic agents inside the tent.
